After discussion, Superintendent, Jeffrey Kelley, recommended the adoption of the Health Department's guidelines effective August 18, Lincoln County Schools will be adhering to the guidelines until further notice. These guidelines state masks are required on buses for students at all times and drivers when passengers are loading and unloading. Masks are recommended for students, staff, and visitors that are not fully vaccinated.

ZMM E-Mail from A fence is being constructed around the Duval PK-8 facility and work on this project has begun. The mantrap contractor visited the central office on August 10 to assess the facility for planning.
The construction project for various walls to create new rooms at the central office is well underway. At the August 3rd Board Meeting, the Lincoln County Board approved three additional days for Duval staff to move and prepare their rooms for students. The staff has been active in the building getting ready for students. A large percentage of necessary furniture has been moved from Duval to the Hamlin and Central Office sites to accommodate student needs. Lincoln County Schools is committed to turning this challenge into an opportunity for our students, staff, and community.
